LESOTHO

There are three distinct groups of Sotho people:

• The Basotho (Southern Sotho)
• The Pedi(Northern Sotho)
• The Tswana

Basotho subgroups include the Bafokeng, Batloung, Baphuthi, Bakuena, Bataung, Batšoeneng and Matebele.
