EQUATORIAL GUINEA

Equatorial Guinea ethnic groups are:

• Fang (80%) the largest ethnic group divided into 67 clans.
• Bubi (15%) are indigenous to Bioko Island.

In addition, there are coastal ethnic groups: Combes, Bujebas, Balengues and Bengas . These groups compose 5% of the population.

Two small groups of Pygmies also inhabit the country, the Beyele and the Bokuign, the former being located in the Altos de Nsork region.
